I take that back because now that I think about it Estes is hauling for HHGreGG delivering their products to their diff stores. I know pitt ohio also does this for a company hauling plumbing supplies for a co in md. I forgot the name of the co but looks like these ltl companies are trying to haul diff commodities for a profit so who knows except upper management about whether or not estes is buying your company. Good luck

    andy Thanks this.

Many LTLs have bought others to complete their footprint in an area not serviced. They may be using your company because of your everyday service to Colorado customers. This is common practice by all LTLs by using local or regional cartage outfits to cover freight off the beaten path. If I hear of any purchase rumors I will send them on.

I work there, you wouldn't make 100k easy. You would have to grind day in and day out with no days off besides your 34. 65-80k is a fairly safe range you can make comfortably.

Plenty of guys on long schedules that work an extra on the weekend making 100k.
Six days a week ain't my cup of tea though. I like having a weekend.
Plus the extra run would cost me too much in taxes. Almost like working for 2/3 pay. The only real benefit is the additional 401k contribution, since it's pre tax.
