Im pretty sure you're not going to find a large company with large cars... biggest company that comes to my mind is Smith Transport with the Petes
-
If you want a real large car, you're pretty much gonna have to roll your own. For a hood it's most likely gotta be a smaller co. & you will likely need mucho experience & a relationship with someone who already works there. The onle exception I can think of is Western. You could start talking to Oldland drivers, or maybe RAM drivers. You could try Bracelin, out of Coos Bay. KVS in Ukiah has some nice trucks, but Redding won't work for them. Chico would though. You will have to look for a really small, under the radar type co.
If I was you I would just swing by DSU in Phoenix and pick up that gorgeous new 389 flat top they got sitting there. Better hurry though because when I win the lottery it's mine. I'm just gonna haul lumber with it til i'm brokeWeeble Kneeble and Rugerfan Thank this. -
smith transport trucks can't get out of their own way and with those super singles probably do not qualify as a commercial vehicle in the definition of the term.they are glorified 10 wheelers or 14 wheelers at the very most. thanks for the laugh. -

Western Distribution out of Denver run hoods, W9's and 389's, but must have 3 years/300,000 miles

The only reason I brought up Oldland is because their website says that they are hiring. How often a driver gets on, I don't know, but it couldn't hurt to ask. 23 years old, 2 years behind the wheel, good benefits package. Doesn't mention pay though, and I'm assuming they want trucks parked at yard on home time.
RAM is another one I'd look into. Saw the one with flames, Ruger. He was headed south on Thursday.Rugerfan Thanks this. -
George Van Dyke out of Tangent, OR. I'm pretty sure those are large cars.
