This ties into the parking idea only here the hotels owners/managers would keep the info up to date in real time, correct?

There are sites for that, but a person would need to up their game way past the lot lizard level.

I agree with the parking, it's right up there at the top of the list of things that dictates how/when you move, but the issue is very complex. Don't know where you'd even jump off trying to get a handle on building a stand alone app that wasn't user driven for that..... but I'm not that smart either when it comes to any type of technology.

Add on, when this is being done, it is usually a balance of 500lbs. That is, they are within 500lbs of illegal on every axle, so quick and accurate positioning is of great value. A uneducated driver can take hours to set up a legal load. From pallet position to tandam setting to 5th wheel setting .... being allowed 12, 34, 34 with a overall max of 80, and you currently weigh 79,600...

Would a paid solution be feasible in your opinion. i.e parking owner be paid to schedule the lots - and you would be able book them in advance ?

This exists in a form already. Most large truck stops have reserved parking. If it could be incorporated into a bonus program for free reserved parking or company wide reserved ect. You might get somewhere

Are those large truck stops in networks, if you wanted, could you book reserved spots along the way , easily in one place, or you need to call each stop individually? Thanks
