Yeah but a app that does a fly by view of the route you ran? A virtual bird following the roads would be cool.

A "cookbook" that compiles different dishes that can be prepared in a RoadPro slow cooker. And also includes other random tips for "eating in the truck" (economically, easy, and healthy)

This app could be "community driven" and also include links to other pages useful for truckers such as weather, relevant current news links, new truck stop openings, etc with in-app ads relevant to truckers

    osan Thanks this.

Lots of developers have made millions producing apps we don't need. But fewer have made millions producing apps we DO need.

I think being able to eat healthy warm food on the road or keeping the family better connected through sharing experiences are great ideas.

    Secound .

A good parking app would be sweet.
Truckers path ain't the worst it definitely helps but real time would be nice. Instead of there red yellow green system do something like 100 spots total 50 available. Then you just check in on the app and now it's 49 spots available...

Drivers are afraid to "advertise" any low profile, discreet locations they may have "discovered" for the same reason retailers don't want to invite in trucks to their parking lots .... you let in one, then next thing you know the entire spot is soon overrun with trucks, many who will use it for long term parking.

    Online business idea:

A "brokerage" to connect property owners with truckers who need semi-secure parking for their truck, long term or short term.

Not sure how the commission or advertising fee or liability protection issues should be worked out
