I hesitate to say this but there is also Webster trucking off of I81 exit 77. They are an in house carrier for C+S Wholesale. Websters trucks seem to be pretty raggedy but they are home daily and run primarily nights.
They do offer sign on bonuses (last summer it was a $5000.00 sign on bonus) at certain times of the year depending upon their need.
Just be advised they do multiple stop deliveries to grocery stores. The freight is palletized and is supposed to be unloaded by the receiver but you may have to help once in a while. I believe they pay for every stop too so if you hustle you can make some decent cash there.
Last year I checked into them when they made a claim of home every night plus up to 70 grand a year (for experienced drivers). I already make 70 grand plus per year but was thinking a local job would be pretty cool after 15 years of road driving.
After talking to a couple of their drivers on the cb I realized they work much harder than I do and driving all night is not my thing so I declined the job. I guess I am just too lazy.
That said other drivers are built differently and love night driving so maybe this would be a good match. Good luck!
Any Ideas?
