I am thinking about going to work for Gordon they are promising me mid-west to west. Do you think that will change once Hartland takes over completely? I have worked for Big Co's before JB, and Transport America. I really don't care about working for a corporation I just don't want to have to go to the NE any longer. Thanks for your Opinion
Any Info about Heartland Express??

I don't think it would be far off the mark.
Heartland and Gordon are both regional, short to med haul companys. Yea, you may end up in the east on a rare occasion, but probably not past Ohio. Since that is crossing too many regions, and heartland does not like drivers to cross more than 1 or 2 regions past their own. Since it makes it harder to get the truck back where it belongs. -
Heartland bought Gordon. Same company now!

I am going through orientation this week. Fresh meat for the grinder, lol. We'll see how it goes. If it's as bad as everyone says it is, I won't be here long. Beings no sane person can separate the cry-babie drivers on here who don't want to run, apart from the seasoned drivers with no tuition from school, (they didn't have them when I started driving and nothing against them) who never turn loads down. Only way to tell if it is a fair company is to test the waters and hope you don't get your butt ate up by a shark in the process. I'll keep everyone posted.
