Any Major Differences Between Flatbed and Dry Van/Reefer

    I think biggest difference is van/reefer is going to be the first to disappear in the future. Robots are going to completely own this sector. Tanker and flatbed are decades away from being completely autonomous. If you're young, just realize that sooner or later van/reefer jobs will be in short supply.

    Flat bed you will get more exercise, flat bed you'll sit more on your arsh, hope this helped

    The biggest difference is that you actually get to work pulling a deck.

    Pretty soon little robots will do all the work so might as well sit around and relax.

    I have no experience with flatbed but my dad did it for a few months and all he would say is that those few months were the dirtiest he's ever been in his life and that it takes a lot of energy to secure/ re-secure/ stop and check load that could better be used driving.

    The little robots can do all the securing and load checks. Automation is the new thing.
