    I don’t believe you have an understanding there is no active Mc number it’s the dot number that is active and dot number can not be transferred or sold you would have to get your own dot number so the day you got your dot number and insurance to activate it is the day That is on your fmcsa file.So if the Mc number was originally from 1950 doesn’t matter on your fmcsa file your business starts the day you activated your dot number.Your fmcsa file is the only think brokers and or customers see.

    It can be done. But you must buy or sell the company also..
    I have my company and active numbers for sale 99XXXX . Good safer rating and a 2012 Volvo 780 with 68k .
    Cups and injector recently done. 50k-55k..
    Also,how do you create a post on the form? I have searched hi and low..

    You can sell your MC# the new person just can’t change the name. As long as the MC# is in a active company it can be sold. Your allow to change address and responsible party.
