I apologize for offending you. In addition, I apologize for running my mouth when I didn't know what I was talking about.
First I found a couple of threads that are older:
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...-for-info-on-roadrunner-transportation-3.html
http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...206-rodarunner-transportation-services-2.html
Then I went to their website and found not much of anything.
So I see why you need information.
Now this being said, I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. First their website gives no information which is a big red flag. Either they are ashamed or it changes too often to put on there. The only thing there is hype about up to a $10,000 sign on bonus. Another red flag.
I called their 800 number and they want me to leave a message and they will answer it by tomorrow. If they need 24 hours to deal with a sales call, how many hours do they need to deal with a problem call? Another red flag.
To me anyone that makes it this hard to get info is hoping I am one stupid owner that they can snow. Just my two cents worth.
Again I'm sorry and good luck.
Any O/O leased to Roadrunner?

RRTS is a very good company to work for. Each lane has a set milage rate. Mi to FL 1.45 + 45 fsc. ALT to Det 1.12 + 45fsc. FSC is put out mondays and is the same for all loads. expect loads going to the west coast get a penny more. 60% of load is loaded on comdata card when you get your paper work. If load pays 2000 then 1200 is put on card before you leave. Plus you get 4 cent a mile for hazmat loads. This comdata is a cash card NOT a credit card. Paper work is very easy you have to fill out trip report for milage run in each state for each load in detail. Logs must be done right and filled in right or you will not work here. Fuel stops must logged has they happen to the minute and town. They do take there safty rating serious with terminal people inspecting your truck plus six month dot annual inp. We get inpected alot because of the hazmat we haul. so you must have your ducks in a row. Transflow by friday noon CTS time pay is in the bank the next friday. The fuel Discount is like no other at TA and Petro it is 5 cent above the cost they pay to put it the ground. Many states are 28 to 60 cent off cash price is what you pay. Last week FL was 33 cent off. 200 gallons = 66 dollars in my pocket. There is no force dispatch and no one has EVER ask me to do something i didnt want to or has anyone EVER ask me to run HOT. You call the terminal the day before you get there they will run 7 to 10 loads by you to pick from. take one or call the truck load people or call a broker you are totally free to do has you please. RRTS pay you on broker loads they only take 4% of load but they pay you and get the money from the broker for you. After you haul 4 broker loads you must pull a RRTS load or the rate goes up to 25% of load. This truly is a very good company to work for total freedom very good pay I only run MI to FL four days a week 3450 and 16600 a year. Any solo that works all week could pull down 200000 a year easy. I have been with them since feb 2010 all four O/O that started with me are still here that said something. The people that fail here really aren't going to make with any carrier. Drop pay is 1st is free then it 40 at treminals and 80 at customers. You have to do a check in call by 1030 each day for location report and that is it they never hassel you. Some times they ask you to do a city pickup I love this the pay is great like 150 to 300 dollars they pay you the same day no paper work. I can only say the turn over rate is not that high they have a ton freight to haul. They use US exp, CRST, Central Ref, and many other carriers to haul there freight for lack of O/O. Hope this helps because i work here and know what going on.
Enterprise, Travelinman, daddy&mama2go and 1 other person Thank this. -
I use to be leased when it was RR Dawes a few years ago..... I hauled out of charlotte terminal, i like this company. It use to be after you hauled 3 broker loads they took another %1 each time so if you hauled five they took %5 and if you hauled 1O they took %1O. Good company i liked em......

The 10000 bonus is no red flag. People that say things but have no clue should keep there mouth shut. If a current O/O adds a truck to the fleet with driver he gets 10000 for doing so. They need trucks and will pay you for doing so.

It is great they will pay that bonus under those conditions. Advertising something that most don't qualify for to suck you in isn't all that upstanding as far as I'm concerned. No real information, not too impressive as far as I'm concerned. Nobody to talk to an owner on the phone, not the way to sign trucks as far as I'm concerned.
They may be a dandy company but they struck out with me before they got a chance to sell themselves. They sound decent compared to the average lease.
How is advertising something that 95% of the people visiting the website aren't elgible for any different than the things we hate about the AT&T's and Verizon's of the world? -
I stand by what I said out of the Bolingbrook terminal. At least 5 years ago when Pops had enough of their ########. They destroyed his trailer. Didn't want to pay for the damges they did do. I guess if 1.45 a mile plus FSC is worth the thousands in damage they did go for it.

We are always looking for honest, reliable and dedicated owner operators. Obviously, working for a company is not the ideal scenario for every owner operator so there are definitely a lot of decisions that need to be made. We pay a % of the total load. No gimmicks, etc.
leatherneck66 Thanks this. -
At the end of the day, If any of us hook, we're on the hook. Good or bad. what might happen to one might not be so for the next.
