Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Any O/O out there looking for a driver?

Yeah man,
i found out from the nice lady at s&h that barr nunn put false info on my dac...they claim i had an unreported accident and i never had an accident of any kind! why would they do this? i dont think i ever crossed them in any way...but from what research i have done, putting false or misleading info on drivers' dac reports is all too common of a practice. well bud, take it easyLast edited by a moderator: Jun 12, 2009

yea good luck convincing them to remove that false accident!...u have to prove it didnt happen

I don't know what laws are like in the states but it seems to me as though this type of DAC crud would be worthy of a class action suit. there must be some kind of legal recourse for that. I mean, you're experiencing damages to your income (loss of income) due to false information spread by another company. It doesn't make any sense that this would be legal to put a false accident on a driver's DAC and then put the onus on the driver to prove it didn't happen.
Neither my or your legal systems work like that anywhere else. I would like to see some one walk into small claims court seeking damages for a stolen computer that never existed.
JUDGE: Do you have a receipt for the stolen item?
PLNTF: NO
JUDGE: Can you tell me what the item looked like?
PLNTF: NO
JUDGE: Can you prove the defendant stole the item and that he has it in his posession?
PLNTF: NO
JUDGE: Can you prove you ever had the item to begin with?
PLNTF: NO
JUDGE: Well sir, the plaintiff has a pretty strong case. Tell me why you shouldn't pay the plaintiff $2,000 in damages?
DFNDT: Uhh...what?
Cheers -
thanks for the support bud, but here is a nice update:
I recently got hired onto a company that is so far the best company i have worked for since becoming a driver, loads of miles, a great dispatcher, the people are really kind when you talk to them and the pay is above average...so all in all, i finally got what i truly deserve.
