Any older drivers working for TMC?

    On a serious note here, I ran into a TMC driver at the truck repair shop here in Jefferson GA. Gave him a ride to the TA in Commerce because he missed the shuttle.

    I asked him how he liked TMC. He said he had been there 3 years and loved it. Said they treat him right. He was probably in his mid to late 50's.

    Rubber Ducky, whatchadoing over here at TMC? I thought you stayed over at the Millis Transport threads. I ask because I was this close to going to work for them. How long have you been driving?

    I started flatbedding at 49, and have talked to dirvers that pulled skateboards well into their sixties. Friend of mine started flats in his fifties.

    Thx for all the info gentlemen. I guess you are only as old as you feel. I need a reason to get back into shape. Maybe this is it.

    My dad has been trucking for about 25yrs he just turned 51 and is thinking about getting into flatbeds. But I'd say he is very active for his age he unloads plants 7days a week
