Tickets from weight stations do not affect your MVR.. but they do affect your CSA score as well as your companies score..
Also.. your company has a policy on this.. on what to do when you get a ticket.

It would be best to be upfront and honest with your company... otherwise when they find out then you will more than likely be fired and have a harder time finding another job..

 

What company is it? I know a lot of companies want any police or DOT contact reported within 24 hours.

I'm not sure how they'd find out, but in this day and age, it wouldn't surprise me

 

How much is the ticket?

 

what are the weights.. what weight is on your tandems.. not the gross weight.. but the weights on your steers, drives and tandems

 

Overweight tickets do not have points in the CSA system

 

A lot of times drivers forget to slide the tandems when they pick up a loaded trailer.. so the tandems are all the way back for loading..
