I was wonering this same question about them. Anyone got info on gypsum express flatbed division?
-
they got most of paths freight when they went under. they run a lot of turnpike doubles across the ny thruway for Budweiser. they have a terminal in jax fl and one in baldwinsville ny. those are the main ones they have one in pitts pa area and one in Savannah and in oh somewhere. they do a lot of wallboard and the rolls of paper for the wallboard. that seems to be where their money is then they'll find freight to get you to another usg plant. they have really nice equipment many trucks with apu's. hope this helps
dieseldon Thanks this. -
you might wanna ask what their length of haul is. had a buddy that ran outta ohio. was getting about 350 miles a trip. thats alot of tarping in a day.

Thanks jellybean
There on my list. I'm a flatbeder.
What does paths stand for?
I was hoping to find a gypsum driver on here. Seems none are on the net.
Be safe and we'll talk to ya -
I'm just going on hear say but have heard nothing bad about them lately.....My buddy knows the owner well and says he is a stand up guy and a straight shooter....
I did interveiw with them back many years ago and did walk away impressed with how they handle their business...The only reason I didn't hire on was back then was they only had openings for NY to NJ runs (beer) which I was not interested in....
I work out of Tully, NY now and will keep my ears open for any new info and post up if I get something new on them....Hope that helps !!dieseldon Thanks this. -

Hey Don.
Path was a trucking company that shut down a few years ago. They had trucks that looked exactly like the one in my signature pic lol.
My last company bought several of their trucks at auction.
I hear that Gypsum finally did open a small terminal on I-90 just north of the PA line. They would not hire me when I applied before because of the deadhead home off of 90. And they said to try again when they got a location there.
I just never got around to it.
I still have not heard anything bad about them. See them running hard again now. Probably building back up like most flatbed fleets. -
Yep i have never talked to any of there drivers. have seen them coming back and forth through michigan. They may not hire me as i live in michigan just north of detroit. Awhile back TMC put a freeze on hiring north of detroit. I took to long to make up me mind on that one. i can'r beleave there are no gypsum drivers on here.
