Have a T600 with 4.11 in the rear end. I don't have any problem running 75 mph in it. Has a little ISL 9 liter in it with an Allison 6 speed behind it. Not a typical setup but it gets the job done.

I think this is it. 3rd one down. The truck I had on 4:88's had a 15spd, low was ridiculous. A turtle would pass you and give you the finger.:biggrin_2559:

how does that 11 speed on the list work. does it just have a 1 hole deep reduction like an 8 speed?

In the late 70's I drove an old GMC cabover, shiny 290, 10 spd roadranger, 410 rears. It was a dog. Leaving from a stop sign or red light you shifted 3 times going thru the intersection. The only time it went over 70 was downhill with a big load pushing.

If you're going in the woods, you will be much better off with a RT12515 or RT14515, which will handle more torque. I have used 12515's and 4.11 rears in off road, very heavy use before. They hold up very well, and you are not abusing your clutch trying to get started.

You can select deep reduction, start out in 1st or 2nd, whichever you need. Continue shifting to 5th. Pre-select deep reduction out while still under throttle, shift back to 4th, then shift through remaining gears as you normally would.

15 speed is a great off road-on road transmission. If you are running a direct transmission now, then you will have the same top gear. If you have an OD, then get an RTO 15 speed.
