I worked for them for almost 4 years in E.Windsor, NJ before I decided after 13 years of trucking i wanted a career change and went into the mortgage industry (yeah, I know, great timing). Anyway, pay is good, I believe they start around $17/hr and top at $21 and some change. It takes 3 years to hit the top, no OT is paid until you reach that 3 year mark, then 1 1/2 after 40. Family benifits are ALL COMPANY PAID FOR which is HUGE. It's LTL, and a normal day was 11 hours, 20 plus stops between delieveries and pick-ups. You go out full and come back full most days. Trucks were macks, some were old, but they were pretty good about getting new trucks in reguraly. Management was ok, nothing crazy and better then most, but you were expected to do your job well and they stayed on top of makig sure you did. Weekly safety AND company meetings and they DID hold the driver responsible for frieght that got damaged due to inproper securement, which is the dirvers responsibility. The theory is, you get profit sharing every year. Any damage to freight during the year gets deducted (company wide) from the profits. Therefore, it is totally in your favor to make sure nothing gets damaged since you will profit more at the end of the year. Its not BS either, I did ok in the profit sharing.

As far as i know, you need at least 2 years, good record and your hazmat. They, like many others, will probably be more picky when they start hiring again.

Any other questions, let me know and I will see what i can find out, i still talk to many drivers from there.
