I ran everywhere for them except the north west. I would say 90% was east of the Missippi and probably 50% north ans south. They have plenty everywhere it seemed.

the first month is tough. after that each day is a little better. there are ups and downs, times when you sit waiting on a load and other times your running your pants off. Im a flat bedder and I love it. im over 50 and have been doing this for just over a year. I stay out for 6-8 weeks at a time. Some like to say Roehl is a good starter company, I say they are a good company. they treat me well. I have only not been to NV UT FL NH VT and Main. I am flexible on when I need to be home so that has never been an issue. I have always felt secure with the support team on the other end of the phone. Are there better trucking company's to work for? I dont know, this is the only one I have been employed by. hope this helps.
Perpetual, notezbngrn71, WhereverIMayRoam and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm based out of Gary and spend a ton of time in Georgia, the Carolinas, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, Mississippi and Louisiana.WhereverIMayRoam Thanks this.

That would be my preference to stay mostly south although I realize you don't have much say in the matter. I do see the trucks running through here frequently.

When you say the first month is tough, what do you mean?
-
I would guess he's probably referring to life on the road and being on your own. If youve never driven before this job/lifestyle can be a tough adjustment. Many first time drivers don't adjust and leave the position within a few months. It's not for everyone.

That makes me laugh a bit because we've never been to Ellenwood. -
I can count on 1the hannd how manny times I went to Marshfield. Lol

What about Gary?
. I am in Gary 2-3 times a week. In fact I have to fuel there in the morning. Let's see if I can beat my last two times of 47 and 40 minutes just stopping to fuel.
