They do give a reduced rate. Under 500 for the 3 weeks.

There is work here, but mostly lower end pay. I can make better money with Roehl then local companies. I have a notion to take some online courses and get my Master's degree while in the truck. Between that and the hometime that is offered it makes sense. (Well some sense)
Got some bills that need cash trown at them. It is a better option then where I am and shutdowns every 3rd month... darkside isn't the worst out there... lol
i was wondering if i would get something out of you. You'd been MIA for a bit... Have a good Easter!

Lol my "force" has been missing for years... lol now wheres my lightsaver? :)

Does anyone know how the skateboard side is doing, ask far has miles and sitting average. Im starting may 7th for van national but when me and my wife move to another area would like to try my hand in flatbed. But talk going around is that the miles are alil lower and wait time is fairly high between loads.

Check out this thread. Seem that the flatbedders are working hard!

Flatbed season is officially here. Winter months are slower for flats, but I always had a load and my wait times weren't bad.

As long as your truck runs and you WORK, skateboards are always rolling in the summer! I have been running non-stop since I came out of the house on Tuesday morning. Most loads have been really tight on the timeline. Load and go or you will miss your next load.
If you want to sit in the truck stop or terminal and BS, this isn't right for you. Actually, that goes for trucking in general. If you work, Roehl will keep you rolling. Now, breakdowns and other delays happen (two weeks ago I was down for 2 days) and that will cut your miles, but overall Roehl and your FM will keep you moving as fast as you SAFELY can. :biggrin_255:

Well, my average wait time between loads is about an hour and a half lately, miles have been great, this trip out has been 1100, 300, 1500, 1200, and I am now on a 2000 mile run to Vegas.

Wow! Nice runs. I am on a 935 just off a 1276. Usually don't get those, but I had to go to NY to get a student.
