I use the PC Miler works pretty good. Sometimes though the local shipper or cons it gets confused but i use local directions for that. For the most part it follows Roehl's crazy routing. Got it for 199 at the T/A in Georgia on I95. But always use every tool at your disposal google maps and satellite if you have it atlas and gps also phone calls. I have walked a mile before scouting where i gotta go so i dont get stuck in some apartment complex or something dumb lime that

I can tell you from mine and my husband's experience that Roehl has been fantastic. Hubby is at the end of his 1st week (Phase 1) and he is incredibly glad we chose Roehl. The instructors have treated him like a human being, have been funny, 'human', honest, fair and well organized. I guess the best way I can put it is- my husband doesn't like anyone so if he gives someone/a business a thumbs up it's kind of a big deal.

I did TDI in Sanford Fl and orientation with Roehl in ellenwood ga for van

I've been here almost a year. I'll tell you my paychecks are better than when I worked for the county I live in. Also my only real complaint is a few night dispatchers just plain suck.

Speaking of paychecks...what. kind of mileage/pay can we anticipate? I realize everyone is different- whether its van or flatbed (husband is van) but we have heard from different people (not Roehl drivers though) that miles slow down in the fall and winter months and never to anticipate more than 2200 miles, etc. What can Roehl drivers expect to earn, on average? Thanks

Not real sure but freight does slow down from October to about march or so. You should still be able to gross $600+/week starting out. I started I'm the winter and my miles picked up around February. Just run and show them you are willing to put in the effort and they will keep you moving.
He will probably start at 32cpm. I think that's the new starting pay for van.!

That's all pretty much what I've been thinking. And he's definitely willing to work and take what he's given...that's the military-man in him. We're used to having a long distance relationship, lol, the Army made sure of it.DrtyDiesel Thanks this.

Well if you can stand him in a small box then you could ride with him lol.
