Anyone looking into RLT, should keep this in mind.
I am a driver for this company so this is fact. Not speculative information.
- You will get loads for sure, we are always busy.
- Modest pay for Tarping
- Modest pay for delay time
- Lousy pay for forced overnight
- Percentage of Load for o/o
- Mediocre cpm for Company drivers (I'm at 35.5 cpm 3rd year as of 4/27/17. 6 years of experience)
- If you live in Redding or Portland you will get decent home time.
- Home time is irregular and just depends on the load.
- The company is good to us as drivers. Owner has open door access
- Dispatchers are some times grumpy and overwhelmed, but will work with you, just snap back when they get pissy.
Any real info on Redding Lumber Transport (RLT)??
