It has definitely been a test of our faith, but I always try to find a silver lining to a dark cloud and one thing this experience has done is clarify what and who are important to me. It is really difficult for my wife, she has worked in long term care for over 20 years supervising nurses and techs taking care of other people's loved ones. I really try hard to do most of the harder things by myself that makes him look so helpless just so she won't have to see him that way. Most of the time she sees him he just looks like he is sleeping with ocassional nerve twitches and facial ticks.

She says I am among the best techs to ever 'work for her', but I couldn't do this for a living. God bless those people that do that work. BTW - I haven't been written up yet :biggrin_2559:

I am pretty new to truck driving, and I did a lot of research before getting hired on at Roehl. The biggest reason that I decided to get hired on at Roehl is being military they are giving me my cdl for free. Yes Free, I understand that they don't make you pay them back unless you leave before 120,000 miles. With being military I don't have to stay that long and not have to pay them back. Lets see if that really happens. They did send me a contract and gave me a 250.00 sign on bonus to. I was just wondering if anyone else has ever received that. I am doing the 14/7 home time option driving refers. I drove flatbed semi in the military never hauled a 53 foot trailer. Schooling will be exciting starting on august 30. Yea:biggrin_255:

yeah the 250 is standard. You can have it 25 for 10 days or 250 at the end of your evos. I took the 25 since you need some cash out there on the road. All the students get it. Was a bonus I knew nothing of till I got there. Good luck!
