Any states to avoid during DOT week?

Yeah when you cross into Texas on 10 and see the mile marker 994 or whatever it is , you know it’s gonna be a long day.

It’s for the curious mind with a short attention span.

They made several DUI arrests at the scales.

 

I second that...just discovered his podcast a couple weeks ago. Pretty entertaining

 

Same 3 states all 3 days, not even an open scale.

 

Meh, typical 11 hr day

 

I didnt see any thing crazy coming from Minneapokis to San Bernadino except on the rest area west of Flagstaff..30 DOT patrol cars and using the rest area as their personal inspection scale.
I made it through but they got the truck in front of me and behind me

 

Those guys on i40 in AZ. They really pour on doing their work.

 

There have been times when I was going from California , east on the 10 frwy coming through Phoenix and they had commercial enforcement signs pulling dri ers off the 10 freeway just past the 17 frwy in downtown Phoenix checking trucks....

I dont know the legalities of that...seems like entrapment to me if it is not an actual scale house
