Depends on how many axles you have behind you.
Also depends on what jurisdiction you're in.Last edited: Apr 6, 2023

Just what it says. 13209 steer, 20000 per drive axle. So 40000 total for drive axle group. Standard law is 80000 gross, pulling a dual axle trailer Same 34000 limit applies. Assuming the Trailer also has 2 20000 axles, and Providing you have overweight permits, you could theoretically be up to 93200 gross Legally. Add more axles on the Trailer, and gross goes up accordingly. The rules are 34000 for an axle group, and 20000 for a single axle. Spread a low Trailers fall under the 20000 rule. So as long as your at 80000 gross, with a spread axle you can have 40000 on the Trailers axles. Same 20000 single axle rule applies for the steer, or a single drive axle Tractor, or single axle Trailer, You can go up to 20000. Not a problem on the Truck or Trailer. Only limited on the steer by the actual Axle rating, or tire rating.
