My wife just bought me a Kindle. Is the text to speech in a "tolerable" voice? I haven't used it yet but after reading your post I just might have to.

Wow all this about you should go flip burgers is really classic from guys that think they know it all...forgetting you have all been there when the miles ahead of you just drag and drag and yet there is days when the shift swoops right by and its time to get 10 and your like "but I can still drive some more" To the OP I suggest you to get SIRIUS satellite radio and that will kill 99% of your problem. The other 1% I believe you can talk to your wife or girlfriend and catch up or just take a 1hr nap to recharge your batteries but if you listen to these fools and quit you will never know what you could have achieved in this career.

The problem with this comment is that he does seem to know everything. There are several people on this forum with 25 or 30+ yrs of experience and yea, those guys DO KNOW IT ALL.... :biggrin_25525:

Seasoned professionals hate whiney people.....:biggrin_25512: so a response such as the one received should not be unexpected.
..I mean the OP says he got tired with hearing his fav songs over and over:

Maybe he needs to find say more than 7 favorite songs? :biggrin_25526:

Or break out of the AT top 40.

One thing my time on the road has done for me is seriously expanded my horizons when it comes to music. I have downloaded several thousand songs, and have discovered a lot of older music, expecially some older country that I really like.

Some times I will even go down the road listening to some instrumental, classical, or even Oprah.
