I got mine back when they first came out with them. Never once needed it. Let it expire 5 years ago. Just another money grab

The couple of times the hubby used his at a port pickup, Glouster, and Mobile, that I can remember, it didn't cost as much to get in as it did if you didn't have it. If you didn't have one, they would charge higher because you had to have an escort to the pickup company.

If you fly a lot I think when I got mine they said I no longer need the TSA card for faster entry if you carry a twic

About two months ago I applied for mine online and scheduled the appointment to go in the office a couple weeks later. Went to the office on a Monday and my card arrived at home in the mail on Thursday. The password came in a separate envelope on the following Monday. It was my second TWIC card, but my original one was already expired for over a year. The first one I got 6 years ago didn’t come near as fast as this one did.

Good grief! Yeah, I called them back today, they said there's been a huge influx of applications recently and that's what's causing the delays.

Wow, wish mine would have arrived that fast. I'm in Texas by the way.

I was really surprised that it came that quick. I haven’t had a port load since I got it so maybe that’s why it arrived so soon. They did tell me that when I fly I can use it to go thru the pre screened line.
