I also talked to him today ( Saturday) he said that they take 13% and that is with factoring. I do find it a little hard to believe 6k to 8k gross per week with the way trucking has been going...
    I am interested though.

Well, looks like they have 48 drivers and ran 3.5 million miles in 2018. That’s around 72,000 per year avg. That is 1500 miles per week per driver. To reach 7k gross it’s like $4.66 a mile which isn’t happening on all miles included.

Are they all owner op? Where do they claim to run? They don’t do any haz mat so nothing special per say that I can see.

I will say 48 drivers is no easy task so maybe they are doing something right? I’m just laying out what I saw.

  8. anytime you see trailer rent or lease beware probably foreign owned 1099 shoddy outfit..
Sasha that's a girl's name or is this a guy?? then I rest my case..

They said they run 48 state plus Canada. They said not all the trucks run OTR. Some run regional. The numbers do not add up and no hazmat at those numbers are even harder to believe.

As far as the trailer rental goes. I don't mind paying for rental or leasing to own the trailer if that is the case.
I worked for a "foreign owned" company out of Chicago. They treated us very well. 90% pay. We didn't run a lot of miles and most time we were 2.00 to 2.50 plus a mile and that was general freight and hazmat. We paid 250.00 per week for the trailer. My 1099 per year was $180,00 to $200,00 per year so it can be done. I'm not defending these guys because I know about as much as you guys do about them.

  10. treated well..good you found some of exceptions to norm..why leave?

Honestly I got bored. I decided to go back to hauling pneumatic in the oilfield. Also I worked at Landstar for several years getting screwed by them thinking I was making great money until a buddy and I ran across one of there drivers at a Shipper both pulling the same loads. Prestige transportation out of Melrose Park IL incase any of you non believers are out there. They are a good company and I have thought about going back to work for them.
