As far as I understand it's all right hand .. some of the jazz/funk drummers I've studied back in school have the craziest right hands . They can do in one hand what most of us need 3 hands to do .. lol

If u got some extra time to kill this is a fantastic documentary that goes thru some of their famous records

keyboard, guitar or banjo, harmonica, recorder. Speaking as a Scotsman I'm sure we all know the bagpipes are superior to all other instruments.

I've played some different instruments. Was learning piano before otr got in the way. Always wanted to learn guitar. But didn't want to be 'one of those guys'. Always had alot of respect for classical training. You get classical training, you can do anything. It's kinda like hitting a one iron in golf. You can hit anything.
Here's a girl who definitely had classical training with guitar. At 15, she could play as good as any rock star and she did. If you'll notice. When she plays rock, the guitar is on her right leg. When she plays classical, the guitar is on her left leg. She also uses a stool to rest her left foot on. That picture on that video is exactly how you're supposed to hold the guitar for classical. My teacher has already taught me this. (haven't even had a lesson yet)

I myself just bought a nylon string guitar and signed up for classical guitar lessons. I may very well be going back out on the road soon, with my guitar.

That is a really good idea. Playing while driving, getting caught up in your style and harmonics... until just before you crash and realize that it was a bad idea.

I played guitar as a kid, lost track of it, gave it away, then, upon retirement, I thought, why not? I found a Strat replica and a small Peavey amp, that was 7 years ago, haven't touched it, and the dust coating is impressive. I can still play a wicked air guitar though,,,

Got to do something while you drive to stay awake. I’m more dangerous doing nothing. Then I get sleepy.

Several rock guitarists do this as well, like Robert Fripp, and the late Walter Becker.
