They closed up in the late 80s or early 90s if I remember right. After a long slog over the hill in bad weather that was the place to stop. Fresh coffee and cinnamon rolls the size of hubcaps....24 hours a day.

One of my drivers found a prosthetic leg, sox and shoe included, at our key-lock early one morning. Nobody ever claimed it. Most of them have a serial number or at least a name and address engraved in them but this one was smooth. I sent it to the local hospital. Maybe somebody could use it.

Had a private lesson(ski instructor) with a young kid and we went up the beginner chair. Half way up his ski,boot and leg fell off and landed on the ski run. His parents forgot to tell me he had a prosthetic. I was a bit unnerved at first....IH Truck Guy, mjd4277, REO6205 and 2 others Thank this.
