Looking to get a predator 2000 and a small portable AC unit (under 5000 btu)

Does anyone use this set up? Will this even work? if so, how long would this run for? any recommendations to set this up? I was originally planning on getting the predator 3500, but it will be too big/heavy to move around since I was planning on storing the generator in the truck while not in use (chained to the truck outside when in use)

    Thank you

My Pulsar generator from Ace hardware has run my a/c for 10 hours on Eco Mode many times. You should have no problem.

What kind of AC are you using ? and which pulsar?

I'm planning on using this AC:
    Robot or human?

Do you think the predator 2000 could run this?

    Thanks

GE window unit a/c, can't remember the BTU's but have never had an issue. Friend of mine runs a similar set up to what you want to do, he's had no issues either other than the a/c unit being bulky in the cab.

The Pulsar has an Eco Mode setting, just a switch on the control panel. If for some reason it won't run your set up on the Eco Mode you'd just run it normal, or not in Eco Mode.

Yes but your going to need a 8k btu minimum and I have a 10k, sleepers have horrible insulation, tucked the cord into the frame and ran it to the bunk, next to my investor so all I have to is plug in the gen by the landing gear

I used a 5k window unit with a 2200 watt Yamaha. It worked great even in in Arizona and Texas and Florida. A bit redneck but window units are much better than the stand up type. One thing though to make it freeze you out is take a dryer duct or some type of hose and gorrilla tape it to the outlet section so you can direct the air straight to sleeper and point itwhere you want it. I often had to direct it away from me after awhile even on hot days.
This was the cheapest Toshiba window unit at Home Depot. Just a knob or two. Nothing fancy.
