If they are having the propane tanks refilled like rv's do the price would be about $10 (refill price, $25 exchange price) a 10hr break

    a 20lb propane tank holds 4+ gl at $2.50 = $10+

BUT where would a otr driver go every day to refill one.? How much time (1-1 1/2 hours) and fuel (1-2 gl) would a driver waste every day driving to get one refilled..? Where would you safety store a 20lb propane tank on a truck..?
And running a generator on propane produces less power. Depending on brand/model around 500 less starting/running watts.

And mush harder to find shops that can work on propane generators. In my case no one in my town works on propane so I work have to drive 65 miles each way to drop off/pick up (260 miles total) for bowling green, ky or 90 miles each way (360 total) nashville, tn..

At my house I do have a duel fuel portable generator and yes I do have 4x 20lb tanks (grill, Blackstone fire pit and genurator) but if the power is going to be out for over 6hr the generator is switched to gas..

They appear to be running 100 lb tanks. They're pretty tall.

My bigger pulsar runs 6500 watts gas. 5500 watts propane.

    Propane burns cleaner.

So far I've only fired it up once. On propane. Haven't even touched the gas tank yet.

So I have no idea on run time but I have 2x60s, 2x40s and 2x20s tanks.

I bought em for propane heating the garage. I've since bought a 240v heater.

BTW don't even box it up just take it and the remote

i called the number in the manual 1-888-866-5797. i took it back and they looked at the PO number on the box and said it was one one the ones affected by the recall. they swapped it out for a new one no questions. the new one works flawless!!! there using a new engine vs the old one they had in it the new engine is the same one in the champion 4500 dual fuel.

Best one I ever saw was a window unit installed in the bunk door on a Freightliner Classic. Lady driver leased to Landstar. I commented on it, she explained she bought a door cut the hole. Kept original. Pulled into rest area, she showed me the inside too. Had it mounted about half way in and out. Just enough to work properly. Great set up, it didn’t stick out any further than the stack. Just looked a bit odd.

You guys im sure know this . Look at starting Amps vs running amps , its gonna take more on startup . Then choose power supply accordingly.
