ANYBODY WITH OOIDA FLATBED INSURANCE?

    Hi there.. does anybody have insurance with OOIDA for flatbed? If so? how much are you paying monthly? Im about to go on my own and I thought about OOIDA insurance since all the insurance brokers around me (CA) are quoting me at around $4100-$4300 down and $1200-$1400 monthly payments? Of curse for the 48 states. Is this normal? Im pretty much a "new venture" been driving for about 14 years but I decided to fly on my own in the flat bed industry.

    I am. Recently moved to Tennessee. But started the venture 6 months ago in cali with ooida as my insurance. It was 1800 down. 1200 a month. Theyll give you a list of brokers that won't take the insurance. But they all do. Even landstar. If youre curious my monthly payment moving to Tennessee went down to 950. Thats with the added 1 million general liability plus 5k towing reimbursement

    I had 15 years experience had 1 violation on my record. So you should be somewhere around there. Everywhere else I went wouldnt quote being in cali or came back at 25-30k for the year

    Hey man, I really appreciate your willingness and time to help me out. Ive been driving for quite some time, but Im about to start on my own and at this point any kind of information that can educate me to make the right choice is extremely appreciated. I guess ill be buying my OOIDA membership tonight. lol

    Hey man. I used OOIDA for my car hauler and my flatbed insurance for 3 years until late 2019. My down payment was $1900.00 and my monthly payment was $1437.00. I have zero complaints about OOIDA. Never a problem.
