It's easy to do in Texas.

I had a situation a few weeks ago at the southbound scale I-81 at exit 23 in TN. It's one of those spots where there is a scale a half mile past an entry ramp so most truckers know to be on their game so they can be staged for the scale while letting cars in from the ramp.

Some fool flying in the passing lane realized about 50' from the scale that he was about to miss it. He threw the wheel to the right and completely cut off 3 trucks (me included) putting us on the shoulder at full lock. Not only that about 5 cars had to hit the grass median and shoulder at 70 mph to avoid a pile up. Cars and trucks scrambling everywhere for this fool. All because he wasn't paying attention and just HAD to make that scale instead of just accepting his mistake and rolling on.

It's very doubtful TN would've chased him. They never do.

Ha ha, not myself but sounds like that driver didnt have much experience driving heavy equipment.
Reminds me of the time that I had just got into el pisso and was headed towards cfi terminal when I heard a driver say on the cb "watch this" it was a daycab on the opposite side of the road and he flew into this big dirt in lot and locked his brakes up and almost did a complete 360 degree spin around. Dunno how he did it, but I was waiting to see that trailer tip over. He got real lucky
