Still doing really well, I am having some minor muscle pain around my neck, but it is getting better with exercise. One great side effect, I do not snore anymore. I don't know why, I just do not snore anymore. I do know this, I sleep 100% better than I have in a long time.
Anyone been hurt at work???

I bet you have lost some weight. That helps in the snoring department. So I hear. Lol
-
I wish... Sitting around the house it has been really hard not to gain alot of weight. I've had times like right after I got hurt, and right after surgery, it seemed like all I did was lay around and eat. Just a few more weeks and I'll be back, I think.
-
That's good to hear. Hope you get comfortable bumping these docks. Lol. They gonna let you train still?
-
I have to talk to Karen and see what they are or are not going to let me do. I think alot has to do with how well I can do with the pre work screening. I will have to do that again. I am afraid I have been off long enough that they are going to try to run me through orientation again. They haven't been very forthcomming with information, they want to know what the doctor has to say and that is about it. Once the doc gives me a firm return to work date, that might all change.
-
TThat would be stupid in my opinion to have you do orientation. Just silly. Wouldn't surprise me that much. Lol.

Back when I was still doing heavy haul, On 5 axle low boy,the company had ramps to set on the beaver tail to load or unload over the back, in transit they sat kind of in a little hole in the middle of the trailer, I always used a small chain and a snap binder for dot reason, never had put to much tightness on the chain, each ramp weight about 85lbs, with the hole they sat in, not much worry they fall out,
I went on a vacation, and the driver that they put in my truck while gone, use a pri-bar to put as much tightness on the chain as he could muster, when i got back and tried to use the ramps, I needed to use the pri-bar to take of the chain, could not budge it with my hands, the force was so strong, it ripe the pri-bar out of my hands and shoot it straight up in the air and came down and bunced off my head nocking me uncontious, well to shortin this a bit,18 stamples in my head, was called frankenstein for 8 weeks -
That doesn't sound like much fun... That is the nice part about doing what I do, always have the same tractor, we do switch trailers alot, but all the equipment is on the tractor. Now the last couple of years been pulling a curtain side trailer, so I don't need much, some straps and a winch bar.

Getting better every day. My last trip to the doc, he gave me some exercises to do and they are helping alot. Started to walk and do some other exercises, trying to get back into shape to hit the road again. It shouldn't be too much longer... My wife wishes I would never go back... X-rays in about 2 weeks, then see from there.
