    And for the aviation lover in all of us.......... the new Airbus A380 landed at Houston today. Belongs to Luftansa. 500 seats, 261 ft wing span and a gross take off weight of...ready? ready? 1.2 million pounds! Egads!

    And for a thrill....Pratt and Whitney is now selling a new turbo prop.....850 hp!!!! Put that in your Cessna and smoke it!

    They aren't adding more and more trucks . In another thread I posted a link to a recent article from "The Trucker" stating most carrier fleets have 20% less trucks than they had 5 years ago and there is no sign of that changing.

    Rick is correct, very few carriers plan to add capacity to their fleets........can't get drivers......most are replacing aging stuff and waiting to see about the election....
