I've been told my whole life there's no future in working for somebody else for a living. You can piss away a lifetime in about any industry making somebody else rich if you're not ambitious enough to work for yourself. Most young people anymore are just simply too lazy to be a truckdriver, they want an 8 hour workday and all sorts of little frills, benefits and perks and very little actual work.
Anyone else adding trucks this year

Was gonna add my 4th truck this year. Was looking at another glider considering how well the other two have done. Will be next year before Fitzgerald, Thompson Cat, D&B or Harrison has anymore. So went ahead and put an order in for one but don’t know when it will be ready next year. So adding a couple of trailers this year. Picked up a Reitnouer Big Bubba last month and planning on another one before the end of the year.

I spent my whole adult life managing employees for other people. I got out of that after 25 years and now just have the one truck I drive. Could not be happier. Now I make as much or more than I did when I was managing facilities for other people.
Employees suck weather they are drivers, factory workers or sales people.Opendeckin, Vampire, Speed_Drums and 3 others Thank this. -
