My Portland driver came home last week with two boxes, two lobsters, five Dungeness Crabs and a five lb bag of clams in each. Fine holiday fare.

It would have been even better if either him or his wife would have had the first clue how to deal with live seafood.... lol! It was an adventure.

I’m not sure to consider mine a gift, but I guess because the gal stated it was a Christmas gift, it was a gift. Arrived 9:30am for a 2:30pm appt. My issue for being early. Called to the dock for loading at 7:30pm. Loaded by 9:00pm. Went for my paperwork and she asked if I had received a Christmas gift. Box of cheese. Better than nothing, but wasted an entire day.

I was going to ask how she got it back to the yard, but didn't want her to incriminate herself. I LOLed about the duct tape, you can never have too much.

I don't really like receiving gifts. It's just not my thing.

When I drove for FFE I served a dedicated company and they would often give me candy bars and piss jugs.... I mean, gatorades. Not just a holiday thing, they were always giving me refreshments, and jug to relieve myself.

I get hats and shirts all the time, and offers to have a slice of pizza, breakfast biscuits, etc…

Strangely, not a single one ever offers a pint of type A. :(

All that #### is always covered in american cheese, which is an abomination. And the pizza always has garlic. Don't trust it.

If you want the good stuff, like the type A, you have to straight to the source, and put in the work. A vampire's life is a hard one. What you need will not be given to you. You have to work for it. You have to chase it down.
