Anyone else getting these phone calls?

I’m getting phone calls from people who say they’re with this site.

I’ve answered once, Ive even listened to their offers. I asked for a 1099 job, they said they had none, and I thought that would be the end of it but they keep calling.

I don’t want these phone calls. I want this to stop.

 

Tell em you aint got no panties on and see where it goes after that

 

I get phone calls from people saying they're from this forum about every other day, I want them to stop too.... I also don't believe they're from this forum and I don't know how they got my phone number, but I have blocked every one of them so far

 

Is it a recording?
Are you answering the phone or are they leaving messages?
Have you ever posted your number here, say in the jobs section?
Is it a computer voice ? Accent?
I wonder if you dont have a cookie tracking your internet activity and the info has been sold to bad actors

 

I have a Spam blocker on my phone and every time they call it shows spam, when I don't answer it is a recorded voice leaving a voicemail...
They say they are from truckersreport.com and said they are following up on an ad I left for work, they claim they have multiple positions in my area.... One day I tried to call them back and the same recorded voice said leave a message

 

I don't leave my phone number on any ads for the simple fact that I will be spammed to death

 

Can you explain that process how a cookie could follow you? I've never heard that before

 

Did you follow the link that 88 alpha left for you? After view that thread I dont think this is a cookie issue , but yeah we are all being tracked by entities with questionable intent.
