Its one thing to have a decent work ethic, but the way to truly get ahead is to work smarter, not harder. "The race is not to the swift..." If I can make a living doing only what's necessary, then why should I kill myself working? I'm just a cog in a machine. No one's gonna care about me but me, so I need to look out for myself first and foremost.
Anyone else hate shifting?
