Anyone else hate shifting?

You might encounter a few super truckers who'll say you're not a real trucker unless you can shift, LOL. I don't agree but just be prepared for some criticism. Shifting began hurting my knee after a while, they'd just say well your just a sourpuss..you gotta love these types.... I'll gladly drive an automatic all day local.. one less distraction.. and better knee..

Meanwhile these guys can barely walk..

LMFAO!! I do wish I could've learn manual in school though... But in my opinion, the school didn't give us enough time to practice and learn this thing, and we had a different instructor everyday so I just switch to automatic on the third day so I could focus on passing the test instead.

 

Even my 4 wheeler is a 6 speed manual.

 

So three days into it you just give up?

 

Only 10% of the trucks sold in Canada are allowed to be manual in the next year or so. Bull#### IMO.

 

No, that's not what he said.. he needed to pass the test so he did his road test in an automatic...
