Depends on the tarping station. We talking Rocky Mountain Steel with its 2,trailers to stand on, or those lovely Georgia Pacific silk danceresque harness gigs?
Anyone else hate tarping on clear sky days?

The ones that lift half the tarp and drag it across the load.
I don't mind the harnesses, they aren't bad if you don't think about how much sweat they have seen.

Ah yes, GP has one at a lumber mill under a shed. Downright laugh riot when the wind kicks up and capes it all around..

I'm with PattyJ. It really depends on the load. You get a nice square or rectangle load you can easily be done in about 30-45 minutes start to finish.
Did a load 4 years ago, that just to tarp the load took almost five hours. By the time you pad all the sharp edges, then roll the plastic that the customer says has to be on the load then the tarp, it can be very time consuming. -
My favorite is tarping loads that come from out side to ship to stay outside in the elements someplace else. But I do agree with you on trapping on a calm clear day over a windy or rainy day.
