Back when I was running linehaul at night i'd be grateful to be back in the yard by 6:00 AM, and be tired as can be IF you can go home after that. Problem is back then the pricks liked to send linehaul drivers back out to go sort and segregate somewhere for 3 hours. By then you're wide awake and would be lucky to gotten 2 hours sleep by the time you have to go back to work the next night.

It sucks, but it's legal as long as the time limits are complied with.

It's never something easy like the side windows where a roll of tin foil and tape will solve it. If you can get use to it blindfolds will work, but not everyone can get to sleep with something on their face.
