Heavy Metal is the BEST genre of music. Disturbed has always been in and out of it (mostly out, but right on the fringe).... They're a 'purists' nightmare... You guys like what you want to, only a fool could fault that, for as GK Chesterton would state: 'There can be no accounting for taste.'

I myself like the cover better than the original.

I'm older, as y'all know, but keeping up with the kids is time consuming. See my avi ? maybe somebody YOUR age gets it, I just like the the spirograph, LoL. The daughter created it and I'll leave it at that. It was in her days 2 years ago, listening to this band, BVB, etc... I actually liked some of her stuff, LoL.. I agree with you on the Metal, and at my age, you'd think I'd be listening to John Prine... not that I dont.. Yep, still do.
That was an awesome quote, btw! How do you even KNOW about GK?? He sparked Charles Dickens...."it was the best of times, it was the worst of times...." and here we are again~!!!
Here's my all time favorite. A bit of metal mixed with vintage.... sorry we got off topic, but....... this used to be my life~! LoL~!! I love the part about the pistols...

    Best cover ever.

Daves voice is perfect for it. This is one of those rare moments where the cover is better then the original. Simon made a good song but Dave (and the rest of disturbed) made it great

On a rare occasion sometimes the cover IS better. I prefer Iron Maiden's version of "Crosseyed Mary" to Jethro Tull's.

It COULD be a great cover. The music is perfect. The only thing that holds it back is the singing. He's just not that good of a singer to pull this off. It's a good cover, but to be epic it needs better vocals.

Have to disagree with you on this one... The cover is OK, but if we are not talking about a traditional rendition, such as the Dubliners... I still think Thin Lizzy did it best.
