anyone ever done a hood conversion on a volvo?

    I have a 1992 WG Volvo dump truck and my hood has some damage so I would like to put a different style hood on to make it look a little better. anyone got any pointers?

    I have not done it but do some measuring and stuff like that, see what lines up? It looks like the worst part is the bend in the front and the replacement has the same bend! Like I said do some measuring and see how it fits1. Good Luck.

    Are the hinges the same on the two hoods? Also might want to measure length & width of the replacement hood to make sure its not so long as to hang over your bumper or to wide to where it won't meet the cab where it needs to be.
