Contact the department and officer. If he meant verbal warning. That’s what he meant. Not a violation.
I have found dataQ to be nothing but an excuse maker to waste my time.
Had a questionable registration on my truck. Patrolman said nothing official. Just look into it when you get back to Colorado. It showed up on my psp as a violation. I filed complaint in dataQ. Asked for the inspection or ticket. I knew there wasn’t one. dataQ came up with another inspection that had nothing to do with me, my company, or even the correct state. They closed the complaint.
I asked my supervisor if he can do anything from his end. Two days later. He texted me a picture of a discussion he had with Ca. Hwy. Patrol. They said they’d have it removed.

    TheLoadOut Thanks this.

Remember, violations existing at the start of the inspection, even if immediately corrected, STILL existed and WILL be recorded.

That's the inspector's job and he might not find anything else.

This is the number one gripe get from drivers as the had in their inspection report.

They always feel that getting that offending lamp re-lit should cancel out the violation but it doesn't work that way.
