    You'll overcome your fear once you start school.

    Got out of trucking after being blown over by severe wind. Now I'm back into it because I need a job.

    It's okay, it's just that windy weather creeps me out.

    Wind doesn't scare me so much, but I pull a tanker. If I ever get blown over, then the van guys are gonna be flying over me. :eek:

    I will say this though. Early last winter I hit severe straight line wind coming home. I was just a couple of miles from parking when it happened. It was early in the season, and we had a bad storm come through that was dumping heavy rain and even some tornadoes. I got slammed hard when I hit the storm front. The wind came out of the south hard, and I was heading straight west. My truck started rocking so bad it was difficult to keep it going straight and stay on the road. Thank God I wasn't pulling an empty van. She might've went right over.

    Today we had 80 mile an hour wind here in Juneau, Alaska. Still blowing as we speak. This morning my empty 9,600 gallon trailer was picked up and blown about 45 degrees to my tractor. Pre loaded all trucks and trailers tonight for same reason. Not much worse than wind.

    Sir, or Ma'am; that tractor trailer will scare you so much more than you will ever comprehend at least once in your life. IF this is what you want, to drive these things then you have at it. Commit yourself;

    People have died when confronted with mortal fear and never did have the time to work it out here on earth.

    You are arrived. Gaurdshack reciept shows everything in order. Why are you with a company that does not have a pure drop and hook account with Walmart?

    Change companies to one that does have drop hook etc.

    Then realize new ones that are not yet taught by school.

    I tried to hide mine under a fake tough guy front related to mountains and the instructors had a field day with that for months. They then created a monster. As Instructors their job was to hunt students, find the one thing that strikes dracula's terror into heart late at night and then erase it until it becomes irrevelant. They did not discover the other problem. Elevators. Ever since they took the Motor Man out of the cabs and it's automatic Ive hated them things.
