They will probably tear the cameras up too.

I'm curious how that works. Signal pretty good to the truck? Picture decent? Battery life?

In most areas signal is decent. Thing is it only records 120 seconds once it sees motion. Best bet is to have the WiFi box close to the ring. Mine stays outside of the cab making sure nobody steals tarps equipment etc. so it’s not far from wifi box at all. The wifi box is tiny.

I bought the cameras from Amazon. Put the monitor on the sun visor. Wired a switch in the dash. I put on cam in the nose of dry van and other about 5 feet into the trailer at back. I use it as a backup cam the back into tight spots and shows the dock so I know when to stop. Got used to them and can't imagine being without

    • It’s a great idea and I want put a single day/night vision camera in my refer trailer as well but I’m not sure is it practical or will it fog the camera inside?

Hi just wanna update the topic. Have you guys found a camera yet to find out if forklift drivers are damaging inside of your reefer trailer?
If anyone has used this, could you please tell me what you used and how you used it? Thanks!

I'd love to put a camera inside my pneumatic tanker just to see what happens when I'm unloading. Always thought it'd be neat to watch. Kinda like watching paint dry I guess ...

I am not sure about all Landstar trailers but I have seen some of the newest ones that Landstar has bought say there is a camera inside the trailer. I am not sure where it's at, I imagine at the front though I have never really looked for where it might be. I am sure it is possible to put the camera in. I hope by now you got someone to accept responsibility for the damage to your trailer and make it right.
