Not just the date but what does your MVR say?

Copy the violations exactly as they are on the MVR, nothing else, and then if there is the 15 over or something that is bad, get a lawyer, get the case(s) reopened, and get them all reduced. THEN copy everything exactly from your MVR.

    @ScottyB 336 --

I don't think anyone here (thus far) has explained to you the "big picture" of what you now are facing....

The overall CDL freight market is currently in a slump. Thus -- many carriers have....in most cases....cut back on their hiring....and/or tightened up their hiring requirements.

The thinking at present is generally this should start to improve sometime next year.

But of course -- no one really knows for sure when things will start to truly rebound.

Given the above -- I think you're getting a "chilly" response from carriers because:
    • On your applications -- you're reportingj/listing a citation that either doesn't exist...or has been changed/reduced to something else (either way -- this is a recruiting "red flag")
    • As of the time of this writing -- you don't have a CDL, yet (or any relevant endorsements to go with it) -- thus, you actually have nothing to offer
    • The above-described abysmal freight market has created a nasty hiring environment for drivers with less than a year of experience.
However, all this does NOT mean that you are totally out of luck.

Henceforth -- only report what is on your MVR when filling out applications (and only for the period of time specified/requested -- for example: "in the last 3 years, any accidents/citations?"); don't make your situation artificially worse by mentioning things that no longer exist -- or that are further back in time than requested on the app.

Here are a couple of sources of opportunity that are looking for help in your area, that hire (and train) brand new CDL holders:

Maverick Transportation -- this is flatbed duty -- easily some of the best training in the flatbed industry

Werner Enterprises -- southeastern regional duty (dry van or reefer) -- accepts brand new CDL holders

Schneider is also hiring in your area -- but either of the above I think would be a better choice/start (note: I'm a Schneider vet).

Do not accept any job or account that has you delivering to ANY of the so-called "dollar" stores: Dollar General, Family Dollar, etc. Leave those jobs alone! Be sure to ask about this when a recruiter offers you a position (whether it's dedicated -- or not).

Because of the above factors: BE PREPARED FOR SEVERAL POSSIBLE "NO" ANSWERS/REPLIES....before you get a "yes". :(

When first starting out in the CDL world -- I went through the same thing -- and this was back when freight volumes were much more attractive. o_O

Your odds of being interviewed & hired sooner rather than later will be significantly better if you already have hazmat, tanker and doubles/triples endorsements (along with that valid class "A" CDL :evil3:) at the time you submit your applications.
