Im lucky my company will still get to use paper. 2nd exemption "drive away tow away operations" otherwise id be out looking for a new job as well. Since end of last winter we've been going balls to the wall on the cement side of things and it looks to get even busier. Servicing 15 rigs right now around southeast ohio, wv, and southwest pa.

2000 a week isn't that hard to do if your a runner. I think 1 or 2 of our guys have even hit 3k in a week gross. Thats loose leaf and 100+ hours. Small family owned company only have about 10-12 drivers. If i was a driver that has pneumatic experience id be looking to run cement instead of sand atm. Out in the utica & marcellus i don't see very many sand cans and i see lot of sand box but there sitting at a truck stop alot.

 

Do you have any more info about these gravel gigs that take winters off? That sounds like the ticket.

 

Winter time usually pays better since nobody wants to work winter time there's a shortage of people and the rates go up

 

Asphalt doesn't flow in the winter, so if it's related to paving, there's that. I haul lennels (jersey barrier type of things) in the winter, myself. Tanks go into hibernation with 6122 and 3257 products.

 

Still going strong? Does your company have benefits? I'm in upstate NY and am considering going back to ND but would work in PA if it was worth it.

 

It's only looking to get even busier. Talk of opening the Weston WV bulk plant again. Gonna be picking up a ton of antero work all along us 50 in WV.

No benefits old school outlaw to the bone. The way thing's used to be. Like you get called for a random and your dirty boss man will somehow get you out of it. Yeah we're the definition of outlaw. Have a #### good csa score too.

Been months since I filled out a log book. Someone in the office does it lol. Besides me were all a bunch of ex cons. Payroll lady did time for embezzlement.............. The owner is 75 and has a 2 yrs old kid not with his wifey.

Come on down its the last of the true outlaw companies. We only have 10 to 12 drivers. 35 perdiem don't share a hotel room u get your own.

The top driver does 3k to 36 every wk. All we do is run cement and blow off into the silos.
