In front of radiator would be good, but not too optimal with my Detroit s60 pre-egr. The return line is coming out of the back of the engine, and that would make an extra long run for return lines to the front and then back to tanks. Gotta find the place to mount the cooler around transmission. But less air circulation there. A fan would help, I suppose, maybe thermostat controlled. Saw few of them for sale that turn on the fan at 180 degrees. Is that the right temp for a diesel cooling? Any thoughts?
