Because the Maxwell ESM is the 8th battery slot that is only to start truck with the 7 deep cycle batteries used for hotel loads only.

Dice1, what make is the inverter/charger, and details etc?
I just installed a Xantrex 1800w in the truck and love the convenience of it all. Automatically switches over when generator starts, 4 stages of charge, and automatically maintains the batteries when fully charged.
Dont ask me how I figured out that normal battery chargers dont like 160 amps going INTO them when starting the truck and forgetting to unhook them.....Here's my sign!

372 Watts and what does that information tell you?

The batteries are around 11.4 Volts after 10 hours on a 90+ degree during daytime and will still be in the 12s running all Night. I don't worry about starting because the Maxwell ESM does a great job cranking the truck.
