Anyone know a DOT audit consultant?

Been through 5 compliance reviews. They don't tell you what they want until they show up. Then you need to have all records they request available.

 

Why 5? Been thru 1 in 18 years

Accidents,Poor scores and "Rumors" Get audits.....

 

5 does seem a bit excessive. How would DOT get wind of a rumor? If your an o/o what kind of rumor could be experienced, were not in 10th grade anymore you know. Were just curious

When you operate in poor fashion- Rumors make it to the FMCSA-or in those days the ICC

Now, If you are a medium to Large carrier and your accident ratio is too high, They'll come visit.

 

Lots of trucks doing produce and meat, pushing the limits. Always kept a satisfactory rating.

 

Couldnt find much on last 2.. Saw the insurance issues with the first one.
